Visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the European Parliament and international conference "Ukraine - Europe: dialogue on justice."

Concept

The conference aims to establish relations with European partners for productive dialogue and solution of problems of development of the fair judicial system, fight against corruption, system development of Ukraine, and introduction of the best European practices in the domestic legislation. For this purpose, it is proposed to meet in the format of the Ukrainian delegation and MEPs at the autumn plenary session of the European Parliament.

Participants

  • Petras Auštrevičius

    Lithuanian liberal politician, diplomat, civil society activist, former member of Seimas, and since 2014, a member of the European Parliament.

  • Nathan Gill

    British politician, who was the Leader of Reform UK Wales from March to May 2021, when he resigned from the party. He previously served as Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for Wales from 2014 to January 2020.

  • Michal Šimečka

    Slovak politician, journalist, researcher, and a Member of the European Parliament since 2019

  • Iryna Venidiktova

    Ukrainian politician, academic, and lawyer serving as the prosecutor general of Ukraine since March 2020, and is the first woman to hold the office

  • Ryszard Czarnecki

    Polish politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Poland. He is a member of the Law and Justice, part of the European Conservatives and Reformists.

  • Witold Waszczykowski

    Polish politician. He was the Minister of Foreign Affairs between 2015 and 2018. Waszczykowski was a Member of the Sejm (2011–2019), and has been the Member of the European Parliament since 2019.
